Why is therapy important to my recovery process?

Working through exercises and stretches can help prevent future injuries and pain in other parts of your body. Stretches and exercises help to reduce swelling and tension and they strengthen the muscles that have been injured. Throughout therapy, you will learn how to perform everyday tasks properly.

Is it going to be painful?

If at any point you experience pain or discomfort, we modify the exercises to fit your needs.

Will my insurance cover this?

We accept most insurances at Motus Rehabilitation. Be sure to check out our list of covered insurances here. As a courtesy, our staff will review your coverage and benefits with you so that you are aware of any co-pays and/or deductibles you may have before coming in. We encourage you to double check your benefits as well.

How long will I be in treatment for?

The duration of your treatment depends on your diagnosis and customized treatment plan. On average, courses of treatment typically last 4-6 weeks.

What are the age ranges for patients you treat?

Ages 12 and up. We are able to treat younger patients in some instances.

Is my orthotic device going to be functional with my everyday life?

We work with you to ensure that your custom orthotic device is functional and works for what you do everyday.

When should I arrive for my therapy session?

Please arrive approximately 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to fill out the necessary paperwork. New patient? Print out the new patient forms ahead of time here.

What should I wear to my therapy session?

Please wear loose fitted clothing to your therapy sessions.
